OK I guess what I was wanting just dont make any sense (but most likely it was me). If something blows up anyone close should be a victim. If you walk through fire you get burned. Thats what I am looking for. You walk into the burn zone you die. You too close to the explosion you die. Thats what I am trying to script. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You use the damage-effect for that.
Example : Fire : You got an effect for fire, which is infinite. Create a zone around the fire(effect). That's the damage-zone. Use proximity-trigger to activate the damage. ProximityPlatoon- player's platoon - damage-zone - 2 meters Responses : Blockpreserve EffectActivate "DAMAGE(0)(0)" Explosion : In the same block where the explosion is activated, you set the damage-effect. Use a slight delay for the damage-effect, so you'll see a glimps of the explosion before you go. Responses : EffectActivate "GENERAL_TYPE14(0)(2)" EffectActivate "DAMAGE(1)(0.2)" Message Edited on 10/22/03 07:55PM by San__ |

Thanks san, I think I get the ideal. I'll get to work on it and let you know how it works out. Thanks
