i downloaded HX5_v2 mod and its jst crasehes everytime i open a new mission,i can use the new skins on old original missions but there is no sound for the weapons? any ideas..... ghost recon v1.4 no GE/IT/DS,
shal i jst download it from somewhere els if yea where from ne suggestions?

I don't know, but the mod may require stuff from DS or IT, so if you don't have those it would crash. And I don't know of any other place to d/l it from.

Sorry, just seen this thread - must've been blind not to notice it before!

I'm fairly sure that HX5 requires Desert Siege to be installed on your system. This will be because the mod uses files from those expansion packs - which is very common. It saves the mod duplicating other work, making the mod smaller and faster to download in addition to being easier for the mod developer to produce. The mod should say somewhere what other mods are required, but DS and IT are very common requirements.

I have HX5 (I'm not sure which version though), and I've never had a problem with it - but I also have DS and IT.

You didn't mention where you downloaded the mod, but I get all mine from the Downloads section of www.ghostrecon.net (HX5 is in the "total conversion" section)...

...It does if they are not installed the system will crash....and loudly....hawk
