wonder if i am doing this right since it won't work.

When i set a "Door Opened" as a trigger it never works. The parameter i use is for example, 01_fencedoor , exactly as it says when i check view map objects. is this a right parameter or should it be written in differently?

It's something like;

COMMENT: Door X opening
TRIGGER: If Actor X reaches Zone X
RESPONSE: Open Door X

Comment, Trigger, Response...Have you tried the same way, but with another door? So the error is not because the fence can't be opened....

Doors are dynamic objects (they have an animation).

All dynamic objects have tags in their name so the game can recognize them.

Example from POW Camp :

01_heavy

01 = roomname (in what room the door is in)

= ?

= the door-tag

heavy = you can name this anything you like.

So in script it looks like this :

OpenDoor "01_heavy"
