I'm trying to play Splinter Cell 1 on Windows Vista (Ultimate x64) but i keep getting this exception error.

Before i installed i ran the instal file on the disk in win 2000 compatibility mode.

It works for a few mins before the exception error but Sam seems to move really really slow.

I have the 4 disk version of the game. (3 disks + a special bonus disk)

Also, my computer is more than enough to handle the game.

The game is way to old to run on Vista,your game is Drx9 Vista is Drx10.Pandora runs on Vista,and 32 bit games sometimes don't work on 64 bit machines.And i wouldn't be surprised if S.C.1 was a 16 bit game.

Hm i've got many games to work on Vista that were released at the same time of SC1. Hell, i've even got old dos games working on vista.

I'll try patching it when i get the chance but all i can find is US patches and they won't work with my game (EU)
