This is really annoying. It doesn't matter whether I save manually or use quicksave, they don't work when I try and load them. The game crashes 1/3 into loading 100% of the time. I've tried defragging, the newest patches, reinstalls, and saving with a new profile. Nothing All my drivers are up to date. The game is unplayable pretty much. Thanks.

This is not a common problem with this title. Try turning off any programs that regularly scan your files or scans files on your system as they are created.

Also, is the game installed in the default location? If not, see if installing the software in the default location resolves the problem.

I have no programs on that scan files and it's installed to the default directory. I was thinking of changing the save path, but I don't know if that's possible.

It is common for DA to crash on saving and loading. Especially on Kinshasa.

Yeah, I can't even make it past the first level. Doesn't matter what I do. Savegames hate me lol. Was really looking forward to playing this game too.

The original Xbox version is the best.

The 360 version is a little buggy, but vastly less buggy than the PC version.

No, I don't. Gave up console gaming a long time ago. May pick up a cheap xbox to play it. What makes the xbox version the best?

It has a better storyline IMO, and it feels more like a traditional SC game(like the first 3) than the next gen(360/PC) version does.
