Hello,
me and my buddy bought Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory today, but after patching it to latest patch and creating accounts we are unable to connect each others games via Ubi.com online. Anyone know whats the big idea? Firewalls and securing programs are routed for the game. Oh, and Im running XP and friend has Vista. Is that where the glitch is? Edit: It doesn't matter which one tries to connect, the host sees other player name flashing one time in create game lobby and it throws the player whos joining back in main lobby. Vista can be a problem with this title. No guarantees on that one.
Double check that you have all the ports open for the game - from Ubi's support site. If you have a firewall on your Internet connection, the following ports should be open (consult your firewall documentation): TCP 40000 to 43000 included TCP 9102 input/output TCP 6668 input/output UDP 7776 input/output UDP 8888 - 8891 input/output UDP 8878 in input/output UDP 9102 input/output UDP 9011 input/output UDP 9103 input/output UDP 9106 input/output UDP 9107 input/output UDP 41006 input/output UDP 44000 input/output UDP 45000 input/output UDP 45001 input/output These last two ports can be configured via Default.ini file. Please note that in case port 8878 is not available, the next 10 ports will be automatically tested. For AllSeeingEye - you need to open some more ports : (27243-27245) UDP + TCP and 9011 UDP - For the server, your firewall must be configured so as to accept the connections initiated from the outside |
