I'm having a problem with the Double Agent v1.02 PC version. While I'm playing, about 5 - 10 minutes the pc will auto-restart. I had set all the minimum settings yet it is still the same.
I'm currently using Intel Core 2 Duo 2GB RAM GEFORCE Nvidia 8600GT Windows XP SP2.

Any idea?...;(

Have you done a RAM diagnostic check?

That sounds like what happened to me in games when I had a bad stick of RAM.

Hmmm I had a bad RAM before where I get a replacement of two new 1GB RAM whereby I was installing windows xp when it reaches 90% it would auto-restart which leads to a bad RAM.

After the replacement, my installations were smooth and I played quite number of games without problem including splinter cell : pandora till I start playing splinter cell : double agent where the problem occurs.

Is it really a RAM problem? Damn if it is, then it's really sucks...aarrrgghhhh....thanks anywayWink

I honestly don't know. I am just suggesting running a RAM check.

It could also be a video driver problem, or a different problem.

EDIT: go to Start->Control Panel and look for something called "Administrative Tasks" or something like that. There should be a list of errors there. Look for one that occured around the same time as the reboot.

1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings to open the Startup and Recovery dialog box.
4. Clear the Automatically restart check box, and click OK the necessary number of times.
5. Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

The next time it "restarts" you'll get to see the BSoD that you don't get to see.

I did the RAM diagnostics and it passed the test without errors so I will try to remove the auto restart setting and see the error. Thanks.
