NOT SOLVED YET, NEED HELP.

I'm using vista 64 bit on my machine and it runs like a charm. Try turning off UAC !

Did you install Starforce drivers or do anything out of the ordinary to make it work?

Edit: I thought it was enough to just press "Allow" when UAC prompts you, but I'll try turning it off completely.

Yeah turning off UAC would be for the best ! You have to do a restart !

It gave me many headaches in the past

Weird...

My only gripe with Vista is the overbearing nature of the feature. Allow or Do Not Allow x100. It gets annoying.

sent in to tech support... maybe they can help.

EDIT: I actually found a workaround for it by searching around. Really sad that Ubisoft have abandoned their games like this forcing people to "patch" the games themselves.

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I am having problems myself. I have Vista 64-bit. I have UAC turned off, I have downloaded the update and removal for the Star Force driver with no avail. I have enabled the Wix XP campability mode and still errors. I have read that some of you have a solution. Thanks for the help.
