Hello, I decided to buy the game and bought it for £10. Game runs ok but I'm having really bad framerate. My pc doesn't meet the minimum requirements but I thought I could play it with at least 20 fps so I bought it. But I'm getting like 7-12 fps. I applied the latest patch. No antivirus is running. My pc specs are: pentium 4 2.4ghz, 512mb x1650 pro, 1.5gb 266mhz ram and philips 5.1 soundcard. oh by the way I'm getting the same frame rate on 640x480 lowest quality and 1024x768 highest quality. It somehow doesn't change...
Is it my Cpu or the game? Thanks. |

12 fps is pretty good for even a top end machine.
Obviously you didn't look around this forum and see all the threads about how everyone on PC hated SC: DA because it was a horrid excuse for a game. |

Most likely the PC engine is flawed. Even with my 6200LE some smaller to no speciel FX games like Pirates3 the game (has ps2/GC version's GFX) has slowdown.
Engines count also as fps issues can come from them using a lower per sec number. This means it's easily exceeded and needs to lower frame counts to reach under that peak. Yup thats how it works. An engine is basically it's own card or console. _________________________________________________________ Bob the Vila!! can he fix it?! Bob the Vila!! No he's too busy.....
