Hi,it's my firt post here.

I install Splinter Cell Chaos Theory + 1.5 update in my WXP SP2,but the game not start here.

I search a solution of this problem,and i found in this post http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/954105331/m/1441074274

but its not working here.
KB 917422 not exist here.

After i try to install the fix and restart http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924867

but the problem persist and the game not running.

try to do a search on it: just enter "KB917422"

I try also in my Vista Ultimate but the game saying that only works in Windows 98/2000/XP or 2003 Server.

Having the exact same problem here, uninstalled KB917422 and the game ran fine. Then after a while it wouldn't boot again, so I've searched around and found the "fix" to the prior update - KB924867, But nothing - game's still won't load

Anyone have any idea how to solve this?
