i am running windows 7
when i try to start the game with compatibility becose it dosen't work on windows 7
windows xp sp2 it won't start and it pumps my processor to 100% and i can't end the process

Did you try running it without compatibility mode?

I just installed it on my x64 copy of Win7 and it ran fine without messing with any settings.

What are your system specs?

EDIT: sorry, I thought you were talking about the first SC. Not Chaos Theory. That's what staying up til 5AM gets me.

I just installed CT, and after applying the no-dvd patch so it would at least start on an x64 OS, it booted up but the screen just flashed trying to change resolution. Are you trying to run it on an x64 system or x86?
