Sam says give me the phone Francis then he makes a joke about penguins,turn around and climb the boxes and throw a grenade at the guys that a blowing the door that will clear the steam and then you go down the shaft and out the door.

dont throw a grenade, just go up back to the shaft and shoot the handle

I wouldnt throw a grenade or shoot the handle. First carefully shoot (after you got the phone) the terrorists while on top of them. Now they cant blow up the door and the french guard wont die. Now you can shoot the handle to stop the steam (handle can be seen close to terrorists and some steam is coming out of it) now the patch is clear.

but then you will be killing the terrorists, by jsut shooting the handle you knock them out and the french guy lives

killing people isnt right you know xP

I believe the terrorists do get killed if you shoot the valve out too soon. Wait until about six seconds are left on the clock and the terrorists leave from trying to set up the explosion outside the door. Somebody will scream about their eyes, but everybody lives.
