Splinter cell double agent is the biggest con job of a game I've ever experienced. How long has both the game and the 8800 video card been out now? And they still haven't fixed the graphics issue? My 8800 works with every other game I have, so there's no way they can simply pin this one solely on Nvidia....

No - Turning off HDR/antialiasing does NOT work
No - Adding "-ll" swith does NOT work
No - Installing the latest Nvidia patch does NOT work
No - Installing the latest Double Agent patch does NOT work

I can't even return this dead weight for my money back. And now they working on a new edition to splinter cell? How about they show their "conviction" to customer service and work on fixing the Nvidia 8800 issue with their current release for the growing mass of 8800 owners?

Sorry for the rant, but I would at least be happy if UBIsoft stated they were working on the problem. But nothing I find warrants me to think that. They could at least ship a warning with the game that it will not work with video cards beyond the 7800, and not waste our time and money.

This may very well be the last time I purchase anything from Ubisoft.

Question:
Ubisoft=Crooks?

Choices:
Yes?
No?
Maybe?

TO be honest, the 8800 series is not on the list of supported cards. Seems to be a driver issue that neither Nvidia nor Ubisoft will fix. Probably related to the new unified shaders that card uses. Normally you would expect a card relased after a game to work just fine.

I have an 8800gtx and am now finally able to play the game without any graphical glitches. Download and install the new forceware 162.18 driver on Nvidias website. It seems to address all the problems.

It appears that i cant vote so instead i'll say my piece.Ubisoft are a set of bone idle cowboys,never again will i buy ****all from these workshy,******s.Every game i've bought with my HARD EARNED cash in the last 2 years has had a problem with it.I'd advise anyone thinking of buying a ubi game to throw your money down a drain instead,its just easier.
