I am unable to complete the installation for SCDA for PC because I get some kind of error.
I've tried installing it 4 different times already by installing without the high resolution texture and bonus video. Once I click Ok it will delete all it installed so far and exit out. Picture: |

I was getting a login error when I tried to "Ask a Question" so there was no choice but to post here because I could login on the forum only.

Try logging out from the forum first. For some reason it does not allow you to be signed in both places. At least that is how it worked the last time I used it.

Ubi tech support is generally worthless anyways.
Try installing it on the C:\ drive instead of the E:\ drive. I have the fifth freedom... so watch out, here I come Originally registered July 17, 2002 |

Heh figures. Tried it on the C, still no go. Rainbow Six and Assassin Creed all worked great but this game seems it's going to be a waste. |

Are you trying to install the high res textures?
If not, then try installing those along with the low res textures. I have the fifth freedom... so watch out, here I come Originally registered July 17, 2002 |

I've tried that along with everything I can think of.
I'm thinking it's a bad case of a corrupt file on the CD but this is the second one that does it because I exchanged the first CD the day after. |

Out of curiousity, what language is your PC in and what country are you in?
There are characters different from the English version in the installation path, and two ??s in the file name. That may be part of the problem. I have the fifth freedom... so watch out, here I come Originally registered July 17, 2002 |

Finally figured out the problem.
I had to change the non-unicode language to English, I left it on Korean when I needed to install a Korean game like a year ago and I didn't put it back to English. Thanks for all your help. It's interesting though how I installed several Ubisoft games while it was on Korean. Oh and I'm in the USA. |

Ok, I was wondering because of the different language symbols.
That makes sense then. Glad you got it figured out. I have the fifth freedom... so watch out, here I come Originally registered July 17, 2002 |
