Hi everyone. Does anyone know if there is a university vith an aviation program (I mean where people become pilots, not economists who specialize in aviation)? I live in Toronto and all I could find was Seneca College 4-year flight program, bachelor of technology... There are some flight clubs etc, but I mean, is there nothing at a university level?
Thanks |

Your best bet at finding out what you want to know is to find people who are in the sort of jobs you are interested in and asking how they got qualified etc

Seneca College would be your best bet. Although it is a college, the 4 year program is a degree. I've talked with many airline pilots from the Toronto area, and most have gone through Seneca. There is also Sault College and I actually have a friend there now. They don't offer a degree which the airlines do prefer, but that being said, when there is a shortage of pilots, the airlines grab whoever they can. The downside is trying to predict that shortage which doesn't come around often. Your safest bet is getting into Seneca, and like it was already mentioned, get in touch with the school and pilots. Hope this helps.
