In November 2004, 13 Mirage fighter jets no longer in service were auctioned off at the Buochs airfield (near Lucerne). Prices paid at the auction ranged between CHF 23,000 und 60,000 per aircraft.

Yes, these Mirages flew a few month before they got retired and sold there.

But they don't have engines in it, and also all avionics for weapons/radar,... are removed.

They can't fly anymore.
