An RAF plane has crashed near a pub and main road in Oxfordshire, apparently striking a car as it came down.

"The pilot ejected safely and has been taken to an Oxford hospital by a local police helicopter. At this time we are unaware of any other casualties."

I can't open the link, but "no other casualties," how about the car? Well, unless it was parked.

well the link is still fine for me

this is all i could see about other people involved
"Witnesses at the scene said that as they ran towards the explosion a man who told them he was an off duty police officer staggered up the road towards them.

The policeman's Ford Escort was spun 360 degrees by the force of the blast. "

Wow! That's a good story, Zerg. I'm glad the pilot made it out alright and that he managed to get his aircraft pointed in a somewhat safe direction before leaving it. It looks like, thankfully, nobody incurred any major injury. I know its purely speculation on my part...but, bird-strike maybe?

Graham Billinge, 58, from Langley in the New Forest, said he had been attending a training course at the pub when the crash happened.

"The pilot could not have left it a minute too late. I don't know how he missed the hotel and garage, but it was very, very close. "
What kind of career do I need to have my training courses in a pub? Sounds like my kinda job!
