You might be able to view it from a distance, but they won't let you on the flight line. Getting on the base itself may also be a problem unless somebody on this forum is on Nellis and can sponsor you for a visitor pass. No matter what though, you won't be able to get onto the flight line.

perhaps some1 can suggest a spot or 2 near the base that might be in the traffic pattern whre he might get some shots.
The last time i was in Pensecola (1990), I traveled a bit to the area of Egland AFB....man there were planes all over the place, but I never found a decent place to take any shot, even wiht my 100-500mm lens. even the guys at the excellent armarment museum couldnt tell me of such a spot. That was amazing to me, as Dobbins AFB had an excellent spot on the hill off the end of the runway, though that has been limited somewhat by developers who thoughtfully put up a GDmnd wall to keep plane watchers away-its a bloody cemetary for gods sake......
All you need is a place where thye will fly fairly low off the end of a runway, but good luck finding such wihtout any help.
