i twiked a bit with the editor, cant say its too hard to figure out, just one thing i couldnt find how to do,
when i try to make the underground part, all i see is that black box, and i cant apply textures or anything to it, how can i edit the underground? |

To edit underground u need to use the "lower" tool with 3x3 size to lower area only after that will u be able to edit.

Indeed. And, the 3x3 size is mentioned for a reason. All the other sizes don’t work to lower the underground.
Also, once you did lower the ground you will notice that it’s very dark. What you need to do is switch on the light; literally. You need to change the ambient light setting to heaven so that you have normal light in the underground while you work at it. (Obviously, when you are done, don’t forget to set the light back to underground. H.W. The real intelligence of mankind is not measured in IQ, but in the results of actions taken. |

and you have to close and reload the map editor for your new light settings to take effect.
at least i think its like that....someone correct me if im wrong |

Just switch to terrain view and then back to the underground view and the underground lighting will be correct. GOW |

And you must learn about the point lights thing. Its easy when you learn it.
1-First select an object 2-Then in te property windoww find pointlights 3-Left Click add 4-Further open the added thing 5-Change black color to something nice 6-Change radius to something between 15-30 7-Change the bottom point coordinate(the first one in point-color-radius line) to 15-30 this should work |
