just load up the profile gives out that same error

Hey Krycek, I copied the config file and saved it as sh3.xml in the profiles dir, but when I load it in shoot I get an error:

"an unexpected error occurred, object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at shoot.config.configuration.load(string filename)
at shoot.mainform.loadprofile(string file)
at shoot.mainform.opendialog_fileok(object sender, canceleventargs e)
at system.windows.forms.filedialog.onfileok(canceleventargs e)

Any thoughts?

Interestingly enough I get the same error when I try to open the profiles that come with the shoot download....

It was a problem with .net, I solved it using the shoot.config file from the shoot site.

I installed your SH3 profile into "Shoot" and the "Commands_en" in its proper place. Every thing works great..EXCEPT..while playing the "CREW MANAGEMENT " window shows up. Its like its the default view. Sorta makes aiming a bi@tch What can I do to fix this ? Thanks

I have been using 'Voice Buddy 3.0' with SH3 for about a year now and it works brilliantly. I now use it with SH4 using the same SH3 profile imported and edited slightly. Works a treat.

I've been out of the loop for absolutely ages and only just noticed my original post being a sticky

I've just started playing SH4 but I am a little disappointed in it so far with the crippling bugs but hopefully 1.3 patch will help. I haven't tried voice commands in SH4 yet but I think I will have to give that a go with the information listed here

If you notice, in your thread, the last question was never answered. This question would be very much appreciated if it could be answered, because everyone I know who have tried using voice recognition, always get to that point, and cannot complete the setup.

I have a friend that tried this a few months ago with Vista, and I think there was a problem with it.

I will refer him to this thread, and hopefully you stick around, the 2 of you can figure something out. My friend has both SH3 and SH4.

Hi, I tried to set this up on my PC but it wont load any profiles. It keeps saying something about an unexpected error and object reference not set to an instance of an object. just wondering if anyone else had this problem and how they overcame it.
