I know what your all thinking. A day of fire and bloodshead, sweat, and tears; a catharsis of hatred and anger.

Thats right, folks. Today is the 62nd anniversery of the D Day landings. On the battlefield, all those things were present in the great struggle of the Americans, British and Canadians to liberate the European continent from the iorn grip of Nazi opression. So on this day it is important to remember those who gave their lives, as without them things could have been different these past 62 years.

OMFG it's 6/6/06!
The CIA is outside my window.
Jaws is on the toilet.
Only Canada remains...

No, really...
D-Day is one of those things that is never truly apperciated when it's in the past. Such as 9/11; in about twenty or thirty years, it will be just a date when thousands of Americans died.

I think of two things each June 6th, my sister's birthday, and the D-Day landings. I've studied WWII since High school, and it always disapoints me how much it goes unrecognized.

Haha, this truely is a horrible day!

Great. 6/6/06 has come and gone. Guess what didn't happen. Destruction of all. Imagine that.

I'm actually thinking about the remake of the horrorclassic The Omen. The original can't be matched, but I think this movie will be very good anyway.

I guess the Anti-Christ was born on this date. Meaning that we'll suffer the consequences when he's an adult. We'll just have to be patient, that's all.

The Omen. Awful movie. Read the reviews, not in any way creepy, just kinda nasty, and the only thing that ever really freaked me out is the same thing from The Ring series: The creepy ass kid. Honestly, The Ring 2 had amzing visuals, and was extremely well done for a horror movie, but like The Omen, other than the kid, it failed to leave me hiding under my bed sheets begging for dawn.

If I had to believe the reviews every time, than I wouldn't have seen and enjoyed and been freaked out by Silent Hill by now.
