First of all, congratulations to ALL on the announcement of return of our beloved. Many of us never lost hope. Some of us did.
Outside of our circle (BG&E Fans), BG&E 2 announcement has made headlines and is said to be the biggest surprise in UbiDays 2008. Now, the trailer is titled CHAPTER 1 - THE PIG which implies that there will be more chapters. Secondly, I think the game will have a different title altogether. This game WILL be a critical & commercial success because > The announcement made a BIG buzz > The graphics dropped many jaws > The trailer was a brilliant concept > It won't be titled BG & E 2 > Finally, Ubisoft will market this one A LOT. Although potentially pretty confusing, and there's not really much distinction between beyond and between. I wonder what the third could be in that case... 'Above and Slightly to the Left of Good and Evil'?  |

It would be fun if some of Hillys's animals have gone mutant, and Jade and co. have to capture them to heal them. And please bring back the original voice actors and music composers.

As devoted fans WE ALL want it to be titled Beyond Good & Evil: (Insert Subtitle)
I HOPE it happens. But maybe for the marketing purposes, Ubisoft may change the name. |

Will, if you think about it, the teaser was for OLD fans of the game, for various reasons:
1. No title was written 2. Jade's face was not showm 3. Uhh... no... I love BG&E just as much as the next person, but I certainly wouldn't want the sequel to have some ridiculously long title. I'm all for renaming the game, because, in my opinion, "Beyond Good & Evil" wasn't a very good name anyways. As you played the game, there was a fine line between good and evil. IRIS was good, and DomZ were evil. There was nothing beyond good and evil. You had exactly good and evil. Come to think of it, the original title, "Between Good & Evil," was actually a better fit. As a devoted fan, I want the sequel to be a success. And like it or not, they have to seriously consider what the mass market will want. Once you get past the box cover and the trailers however, you can still have an amazing game. Really, I have put the past behind me. In the sequel, I'm not looking for a direct continuation, but for a great new experience. What every game should offer. |

Ubisoft said they that will make sure BG&E2 will be as casual as it can be...they said the first one didnt really tick the interest in hardcore gamers...man i'm hoping they don't dumb up the game by making it a pure shooter or something...

Depends what it's beyond, I guess.  Your suggestion kind of reminds me of Chrono Trigger. For the sequel, they named it Chrono Cross. The third game would have likely been named Chrono Break, if it had been made. I'm not sure if the "beyond" name would work quite that well though. |

I`m quite sure there is a BGE trailer somewhere where the Domz are called "more evil than evil, beyond good and evil" or something like that. |
