Michel Ancel is working on several unannounced projects, and I'm afraid I cannot tell you more at this stage. You can expect to hear more from Ubisoft about these projects soon.
Well, at least this confirms that Ancel is still with the company. The rest is obvious, but the word "several" concerns me.... We all want a sequel to BG&E. We all assume it will be great.

Thats could be the next project consindering Michell Ancel said that the foundation for his next project is 'immersion' and a 'sense of incredible journey'. Though this could refer to anything. Also when discussing the next project Nintendo Power the subject of Jade did come up but its no reason to get to excited
What prevails for us is that a game shouldn't be released until it has gotten the final polish in order to make sure it meets the high quality standards our gamers expect. We do not hesitate to give more time to a team if additional development is required to reach the expected quality.
I believe Yves should play the PC conversions of their games before making this comment...
Regarding the several projects, I'd have to check but last I heard Ubisoft Montpellier was indeed working on 3 different projects.
BGE 1[remake]+2+3? *bricked* I kid, but hey that makes it a better chance that one of those projects is the sequel that we all want. I'm really excited about this now ^_^ Just so long as Ubisoft doesn't release them all at the same time like they did with PoP vs.BGE. Come on, franchise vs. solo game? Which one is going to sell more? Whoever made that economic decision deserves a kick in the groin.
I dunno about you guys but something about this news of a secret project just makes me feel the sequel in my bones. Ancel was rather open when he said he was working on RRR but this is taking a while, and three major projects? Maybe the spinning rumor mill just has me on edge but think about it...something doesn't just start spinning like mad after 5 years without any reason.
