Thank ye all!

But I need to ask Lynx a question or if anyone wants to answer it, go right ahead...

Which Video Editing program should I buy? I know some that are from 69.99 to 99.99 and I'll probably be using it for other video projects in the future..

Any takers?

Hmm... tough call Jericho. I can't recommend Pinnacle studio, because it's not good software. However, video editing software is expensive, so I'd have to recommend it for budget. Adobe Premiere Pro is idea, and Final Cut Pro is the best, but you need a Mac.

Go here to try out Pinnacle before you buy anything.

As I mentioned above, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro (Mac) for the best of the best professional experience. Those three mentioned software suites are all I've ever used for editing, so unfortunatly I can't recommend any other smaller programs from experience.

Thanks bud. I don't like taking chances with huge money ventures and all that but I got to.

Right now, money is of no use(Except for fast food and to put in the bank) so I can at least spend a few bucks on a GOOD editing program.

Not to mention, this is BG&E we're talking about here. I just want to know if I can still use those recorded clips of gameplay action..but I guess I can since you recommended them.

Oh and has anyone ever heard of Rabbit in the Moon's "O.B.E."? Yeah, it'd be a good song to make into a music video..

Wonder who will make it.. Roll Eyes

Don't know if Lynx will hear me but I got Adobe Premiere Elements instead of Pro. Should be the same right?

Either way, it better work. Or else I'll have to rob two banks....fifty bucks each.

P.S> Oh yeah, before I forget...anybody here have a BG&E music video to share or remember one that they would like to share for the rest of us? Please let us view!

I'm using Adobe Premiere for the horrormovie. It's a very complicated program(remember, I'm used to Windows Moviemaker), but once you get the hang of it, it's an incredible program with an endless amount of options. I'm sure to get it myself one day, because right now the editing is done at my fellow director/friend's house. Since the movie is a couple of GB(how am I ever going to put THAT on the internet), that's probably for the best right now.

Heh heh. Same here DenDen(Although, yours worked. Mine didn't...grrr..)

But it has the same principles at least with the timeline and a slight shift when placing the transitions. The only problem is that my machine is slow(Or has too much..umm..illicit material..) which makes grabing a video file, placing it on the time line, shirnking it to fit in the appropiate timeline, and then re-playing which needs to be fixed a whole lot longer.

20 seconds of the Music Video to organize haphazardly took 20 minutes(I kid you not). And the music video is say..ohhh..6min15sec long. Yep...Might as well wait for the new computer and start the project on that.

Adobe will hog your system to death. And rendered movie file sizes? I have a project that's almost 90 gigabytes.

As for Pro and Elements, I'm not positive on the differences, but it sounds like it's working out for you regardless.

If any of you guys are Mac users, be sure and look up Final Cut Pro. It's THE software for video editing, essentially ripped off by Adobe for Premiere.

If you guys have editing questions, let me know.

Jericho, I can't believe how good that trailer is. The music fits very well and your editing is incredibly good. The cuts in the music are obvious, but besides that the trailer is still quite an achievement. And to think that's only a trailer, the music video itself should be something to look forward to. But if you use Dyer font, it's probably better to put the caps-lock on.

Thank ye DenDen. Big Grin Caps-Lock eh? Hmm...I should try that out. I guess for better look and easy readibility.

Music cuts. Well, one of them is supposed to be obvious(Cause well, Revolution will never fade Big Grin) but the rest was hard to put together without the music lowering pitch and then suddenly rising. So, I did my best in that part.

All in all, I had to do what I had to do. Cool

You can't do anything more than your best, so it's fine. I'm dying to see what you can do with a GOOD editing program.

Don't die! Just be patient. Wink2 Believe me, I've been waiting over 4 months just to be able to show you guys this one video..

Do you know how horrible it is to have a video ready for shipping and handling and the darn program can't save it? It's demoralizing I tell ya!

But enough chatter. I have the Adobe. All I need now..is a faster computer. Big Grin

Hmm.. Jericho, the decision is up to you. I will give you feedback on the trailer, do you want a full critique (where I'm blunt, but very thourough) or a lite critique? My artistic eye is available for you're improvement in any way.

Yes, it is one of the most horrible. When a project you've been quite passionate about goes awry, or must be kept up while you're dying to show someone, anyone.
