Please WE can maybe tell Michel Ancel than BG&E2 WOULD be the best game ever we can also tell him to make the game longer (not changing any caracters look) maybe make jade go underwater to take pictures of sea creatures and make hillys bigger whit more island. So that the game may be bigger but BG&E is excellent best game that i have seen better than Tomb Raider

Please make a sequel Ubisoft. This is one of few games that actually deserves a sequel.

Beyond Good and Evil is a great gameSmile

Indeed a game with such great controls, story, and ambiance deserves a sequel. I's love to learn more about Jade's origins and her fate at the end of the game.

Guess I will add my voice to the chorus here: a story like this, seen in such a great format, is rare, maybe once a decade something like this comes along. Here's to hoping for a sequel someday!!!!

This is THE best game I have ever played. If Ubisoft doesn't make a sequel to this particular title, they need to at least create more quality games of this caliber. All facets of this game were great, but the most compelling was the story. I nearly cried at the end.
If Ubisoft doesn't feel it can make a sequel and do it the same justice as Beyond Good and Evil, any game with a great story and quality construction and development would satisfy just as well.

Oh, what the heck. It took me long enough to do this. This game, while not necessarily groundbreaking in terms of gameplay, is so refined and has such endearing characters, and with that little scene after the credits a sequel would be much appreciated.

I played it on the xbox and was very frustrated because it was rather short and unsatisfying and now that I have a taste for this kind of caliber, its really difficult to find a game anywhere near as good to fill the void. Ive considered Final Fantasy and stuff but those kinds of games dont seem to have any substance despite being very attractive and overated. I did however go out and buy a 360 so I could play the best version of Tomb Raider Legend which kind of filled the void for a few days. But that was short too so now I need a good adventure game.

Whats really annoying is that this game suffered because of games like Prince of Persia taking the spotlight. Ive just bought POP expecting it to be good and I was very dissapointed. Despite being developed after BG&E using the same engine its not as fluid and stunning as you'd expect and worse, it is incredibly straight forward and boring. The only good aspects of the game can be attributed to the Jade Engine which was developed for and better utilised in BG&E. So I dont know what Ubisoft are thinking.

A sequel should have been released a long time ago and even if it was released now I would buy it almost instantely if the 360 version had superior performance and graphics to all other version.

You read my mind. A longer more detailed game with new gameplay mechanics would be great along with possibly the ability to travell to different planets and some actual music during exploration gameplay. More aquatic environmenet and visual would be cool too and MORE MORE creatures to photgrapgh.

Yeah Im kind off a Tomb Raider fan and I even played LEgend recently. But I agree that still doesn't compare to BG&E

A sequel would be interesting. I don't really appreciate the mystical turn BG&E took at the end - wonderful cinematics, but I honestly would've been happier if Pey'j hadn't survived and Jade hadn't started flying around and glowing. "Great power within you" indeed. They'll bring midichlorians into it next.

After all that rubbish, the best bet for a sequel would be to pull a "next generation" sort of thing... get a new character going, leaving Jade as either background or an NPC (e.g. Deus Ex 2). My vote - Venn, the goat kid. For having, like, zero lines, I thought he was one of the more interesting cameos. And it's been established right there in the beginning that he's been touched/consumed by the power of the Domz too. A few years down the road... who knows what effects it may have had? Who'll have to clean up after Uncle Pey'j with Jade busy orchestrating the second coming?

Comments?

Im not too sure Id be interested in buying the game if you played as Ven instead of Jade. The main reason I bought BG&E was because, like a disney classic, it seemed recognisable and differentiated. And the reason I thought this is because when I saw the screenshots and the game cover, Jades character model looked very distinguished and recognizable. Vens character model and character in general doesn't seem as recognizable and if I saw him in a screenshot, I wouldn't be interested in buying the game for the same reason I wouldn't be interested in buying Final Fantasy. And I dont think any of the plot/story developements such a change could offer would be worth the loss of recognition. But I guess different people like different things

Yes! For God's sake, make a sequel!

By sheer dumb luck I found a NEW copy of the game about 2 weeks ago. Just finished it this afternoon and I can say, without a doubt, that this is the BEST game I've ever played!

It is absolutely sickening that very few people bought this game! But don't let poor sales get in the way of what this game ultimately diserves....MAKE THE SEQUEL!!!

I have to agree with the many posters before me. BG&E is one of the best games I've ever played. It's been several years since BG&E's release and I still crave a sequel. Ubisoft please create a sequel for this game!
