It sounds like their "insider" is just copying all the other rumours on the Internet so there's nothing new here. Using BG&E music in the Far Cry 2 trailer seems a bit odd, it doesn't fit the game at all imo.

It's possible, but I don't think PSM3, a very respected magazine, would just copy what they've heard from SurferGirl and not saying so. No, I think this 'Insider' has found out something new.
Although, he doesn't say anything about when, it could still be another two years before we hear anything about it from Ubisoft.
Chances are, that means nothing. It was probably just one guy putting that trailer together and he had no music from the actual game, so he just grabbed something from another Ubi property.
I could just hear him now: "Heh, no one will recognize this music!"
If anything, I'd wonder if that trailer is a bad sign...

Yes. I was hopeful, but now I'm doubtful, that we will hear something about BG&E 2 this year. Based on the rumors, if they are making BG&E 2, then it's still in the very early stages and probably won't have anything to show this year.
Well, some rumors says the game is going to be released for the holiday season 2008, others says it has just started, so it could be anything in between (or nothing). However, I am fairly confident that we will see somthing from Ancel on Ubidays, he must have been doing something since he dropped out from Rayman Raving Rabbids almost two years ago.
