it's pretty good... beautifully rendered environments, great voice acting and sounds, pretty responsive controls (at least on my xbox, i can't vouch for the others). it's pretty fun cause the environment is fairly emursive. it's kinda like a fairytale unfolding. though, on the other hand, it also depends on what your friend is use to playing. the game kinda looks like a kiddie game, but it's not. there's alot of thinkin involved, especially when stealth aspects come into play. if your friend is use to heavy action sequences with lots of shooting and stuff, this may not necessarilly be the right game, but if they're into a game that's very thought provoking and a wonder to look at, then give it a try. there is some action, but alot of it's about exploration as well... becoming in touch with the environment and paying attention to its details.

Timesplitters? The special art style you mean? Hmmm, it does have some resemblance. Well, as long as you think it's good it's fine by me. This game is truly a masterpiece. It has a nice story, unforgettable characters, varied and well-executed gameplay and the controls are excellent.

I usually don't buy games with cartoony characters very often like this one but I bought it and liked it has good story and adventure elements I admit and I didn't finished I left the game on the slaughther house (was very difficult that part) but this one and the game of the hobbit are very good games indeed

The Hobbit? Is it really that good? I've read some pretty negative stuff about that game. I've been wondering about that game ever since the release. Buy it or not? I'm still not sure. Frown

I would buy it, if you can find it for a nice price that is. I bought it (I think) 2 years ago and I found it pretty awesome. It even has some cool CG cinematics in it. Although it's weird to see Gollum in any different form than his PJ Trilogy form.
A must-buy for any platform and LotR fan (which I am, going to buy Andúril soon ^_^)

Alrighty then, if i ever come across The hobbit for ten euro, then I won't hesitate to buy it. 15 euro would be fine too. I saw trailers of that game and looked pretty impressive. Especially the FMV looks gorgeous.
