I got BG&E for my friend a while ago on the PC however his computer couldn't run it (even though his specs are higher) and when I suggested him playing it on my computer he refused.

But now he is going to buy a Radeon 9200 will this work with 512 ram; 2.80 GHZ P4 processor and how will the performance be?

I don't know how the performance will be, but I can guess. I've got a Geforce 2Ti with 512 RAM and a 1 GHZ P3 processor. BG&E runs fine on my pc(moderate graphical detail), so I think your friend will be alright.

That is great as the gift won't be in vein; now I just have to pray he likes it!

Sorry to double post but is the '9200' supported by by BG&E? As I am not sure that it is a fully directx 9.0c supported card.

Well, Jeez, I hope not. That could cause a clot; clots lead to heart attacks.

BGE doesn't require a direct X 9 card, for it uses very little DX9 effects (if at all, honestly....) That rig sounds like it'll be perfectly fine for enjoying the game in it's full glory. My PC actually renders the game TOO well... it's quite annoying. Radeon 9700 pro, 2.8 ghz P4, 768 megs RDRAM... it shouldn't over-render the game, but it does, and certain cutscenes will render too fast which results in audio laggin behind the super-speeding video.

I think it would, it really depends on what they want to do with the card. It won't game for long if you want to game stuff like oblivion or Crysis, but it will play anything on the market right now.
