So the list of 200+ games that will be backward compatible with Xbox 360 at launch was announced and BG&E was not on the list. Now, that doesn't neccessarily mean it'll never happen because the list gets updated as more games are added.
So what can be done to convince both MS and Ubi to make this game BC?
Why would anyone want to play this game on a 360? Because every BC game looks better, that's why. So you could pop your Xbox disk into a 360 and it will play at a beautiful 720p resolutio with full screen anti-aliasing and everything.
Come on, Ubi! If you're not going to give us a sequel, at least throw us a bone and let us play it again on Xbox 360. Please!
Xbox 360 has a horrible backward compatibility setup, utilizing an Xbox emulator to accomplish the compatibility. Too bad BGE isn't on the list (bleh, Halo and Halo2 are. what a waste.) I wouldn't get your hopes up, corporates only want money, and BGE doesn't bring that.

Probably as one of the last...if we're lucky. Not that I have an Xbox 360, but I think it's good when people will be able to continue and enjoy this wonderful game on their next-gen console, just as I'll be able to do when I buy a Nintendo Revolution.
I think the only way to get backward compatibility in this game if if some indepedent programers create some unofficial emulator. I don't thjnk in will be answer in the official sources who created the game.Like someone already said they don't care anything than the money
Geez.. I just looked at the list, and if they're going to include Drake of the 99 Dragons (check out GameSpot for info on that), then they definitely should include BG&E... >>
And oddly, Rayman Arena is on there so far, but not Rayman 3...
Naw, that was Rayman Rush. Rayman Rush came out exclusively on PS1, and contains only race tracks.
Rayman M came out on PC, X-Box, PS2, and GameCube. Or, it's called Rayman Arena, depending upon where you live. It was changed to "Rayman Arena" when it was sold in America because of the ratings system, and they thought that people might confuse the M in the title and the M ESRB rating.
I now own both an Xbox 360 and a Wii. I've already played BG&E on my Wii but since I can't connect it to my pc-monitor I can't experience it in the way it should be played ( on a nice widescreen tft ).
