Just a few days ago, one of my friends, Shoshana, died at the age of thirteen...I haven't eaten and haven't slept since Saturday, when I found out...I felt that this needed to be posted, there is no where else that will give any form of sympathy, hardly anyone a school, and nobody at home...Please speak of people in your lives who have died recently...When somebody of such a young age dies, it seems like a failure of the entire community somehow, everyone is effected, those who do not know the person still somehow find a tear in their eye...This is a tragedy that I most likely will not get over for a while, please post your thoughts...On anything.

Thirteen? Man, that's terrible. You have my sympathy.

I would feel devestated if any of my friends or family would die, so far I've only lost my grandpa when I was 6 years old or something like that. I don't know real loss yet, I can't even begin to imagine how I would feel.

A boy in the nieghboorhood died a year ago, on his sixteenth birthday. He just fell down and never got up, he was perfectly healthy before. It's strange how death can strike so suddenly and unexpected. Again, you have my sympathy. May your friend rest in peace.

Jeez thats horrible. An online aquaintance of mine commited suicide last year. Though we'd never met and hardly talked it hurt. It goes to show you how much one person can make a difference and that life most certainly has value.

I'm very sorry to hear that treebeard. I'm glad you find refuge in here, you know we'll always be here when one needs to talk of such things.

I had a very close friend of mine die in a bad car accident, what was it, 3 years ago? Appoximatly, anyways.. He and a few buds were driving to Florida for spring break. They passed another car, they were in an SUV. The thing flipped, and Ryan hit his head on the pavement of the ground as it rolled. As news came around, a friend of mine stopped by my work to tell me. I broke down to tears, felt sick to my stomach. I went home from work, cried myself to sleep. It's such an incredibly hard thing to recover from, it took me months to finally get over it. I still get shivers and the occasional tear when I do something that reminds me of him. Ryan was easily the nicest person I knew. He went to my church for years, and the last time I ever saw him, he passed me in the hall at school, and randomly ran over and hugged me, then went off to class. The guy had a heart of caring for others like I've never seen in anyone else. I later found out that he was reading his Bible at the time of the accident. Man, I miss that guy so much.
