Seems Ubisoft is focusing more and more on war games milking Tom Clancy for all he's worth. Maybe the reason we aren't seeing a Beyond Good & Evil sequel is because it takes away from this war game making machine Ubi is developing as an image.
Really I don't see BG&E2 as being a big risk for Ubisoft. Just about everyone who played it loved it and it was just poor marketing (and the fact they were hard pushing SC: Pandora Tomorrow at the same time) that the game wasn't as big a success as it should have been. Maybe they shoudl sell the license instead of sitting on it.

Really? Cause I always saw Ubisoft as a company thats produced really creative and fun games because they had the Rayman series, BEyond Good and Evil and POP Sands of time. I cant see why they would want the war game image bcoz I dont think it suits them. They probably only make those games because they have stakeholders who want to brainwash people into supporting the war effort in AMeroica or something like that
But honestly I dont think war games are helping ubis image Its only after playing Beyond Good and Evil that I actually became really enticed by the Ubisoft logo.
