It might just be my stupidity but I think I am stuck.

I am in the Ancient Cave on Black Isle and I just got the currting wrench for the pig guy. Well I took pictures of the two things down there and I try to leave. Here is where the problem starts. Jade jumps up on to the ledge but just falls right back down. She doesn't grab it to climb up. Am I just not jumping in the right spot or is there another way out?

You need to take a picture of them at the same time.

Then things might be a little clearer; although I wouldn't want to spoil it for you.
