A friend of mine just bought the March issue of PC Gamer UK and he confirms me that on one of the last page there is picture of Jade with the following text :

It's all over.
Until Thursday April 10

Are there any industry trade shows on April 10? If there are, that would be where to keep an eye on.

Either way, we won't know for sure until April 10 comes and goes. My approach at this point is the same as it always has been: guarded optimism.

I think April 10 is the date when the next issue of PC Gamer UK hits the stands. That's all there are. Either they unveil some news about BGE2 then or it's a joke and they don't.

I find it strange that a respected video game magazine such as PC Gamer would publish such a picture without any reason except for the fun of it. Don't they realize what effect it can have on us?

April issue has nothing in the contents relating to BG&E

I think that the page you linked to Bitebug, is actually the American PC Gamer.

The magazine in which this BG&E debacle started was the UK one.

So I think that it's the wrong site.

Ancel must be doing something. With all the rumours flying around... usually there is no smoke without a fire. We should not lose hope. Good news may be coming sooner then you think.

Well I haven't checked this board for a few weeks now. But today I stop in and see the strangest magazine scan. If it wasn't for the green lips, I probably wouldn't even associate that with BG&E.

But it clearly is. PC Gamer would not just waste a whole page for no good reason. Something you must realize about PC Gamer is that they are all about the money. Even more so than GameSpot, I'd say. Therefore, that page is most certainly an advertisement.

That doesn't necessarily mean it is an advertisement from Ubi though. It could be an advertisement from some other place like GameTap for example.

But hopefully good news awaits us on April 10. And if this is an advertisement from Ubi, then maybe it is a sign that their advertising department has learned something from the first BG&E. Their advertising for it was absolutely abysmal.

From what I've read it's not an advertisement or anything but just a art/game parody that they sometimes include in their magazine, so it really doesn't mean anything.
