That looks quite simply amazing, seems like Ancel and his team are well on their way of creating the kind of sequel everyone was hoping for.

EDIT: the question is whether or not this is actual gameplay footage, the camera would suggest it's not but in any case it does seem to give a good idea of the kind of graphics we can expect from the game. The quality of the animation displayed is as amazing as the graphics are. It seems Jade is running from the police in the video and ends up escaping by hijacking a sort of helicopter used to deliver fruit. You can notice the owner was actually busy operating a crane attached on top of the helicopter when Jade gets into the cockpit.

On a side note, it's a shame this trailer was leaked as it was probably meant for E3.

Why does this remind me of a third person perspective Mirror's edge meets Assassin's Creed....... (not impressed).

One of the strong points of BG&E 1 is that it blended different game types together seamlessly, I imagine BG&E 2 will do the same.

Understandably, this might not gameplay footage (I reckon it looks too good), but it does highlight the thematic direction the game is taking and it sure looks great!

I'm just hoping they remember to include the character interaction, exploration puzzle solving and photography elements.

This might be the chase scenes seen in BG&E.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got home and saw it! IT'S AWESOME!!!! Comon Chris! What's not to like!! I'll give it to you, it way different than BG&E1 style, but still it looks nothing like I've ever seen!!!

I have a feeling this is actually gameplay! Hell, if they're using the Scimitar engine then it won't be much difference, cuz they use the same graphics for both gameplay and cutscenes

One thing I find weird is the location o_O It's looks like Algeria lookalike o_O Hillys didn't look like that, did it?! And her face looks different I know you can hardly see it, but I feel it is..

was at work all day... but this is awesome to come home to! i gotta post this on the dA club! it's like mirror's edge, but with jade in 3rd person! *fanboy nosebleed*

This trailer tells me nothing, except that it 'plays' like AC (free roaming by the looks of it) and Mirrors Edge (running from gunfire, and then jumping up to a helicopter) - it's too random.

And once again we mainly see Jade's back.

As I said I'm not impressed, due to of the above reasons.

Show me something like 'The Pig' trailer, and then I can comment properly, but this is just a very odd 'gameplay' trailer with minimal information.

If this is all we will get at E3 (if this was meant for E3), I will be VERY cross.

Her 'hah' sounds familiar - perhaps Jodie Forest is Jade again?

eh, for all we know, this could be exclusively to the chase segments, so i don't think you should get worried too much just yet. i'm actually pretty excited since i enjoyed mirror's edge... yet the frustration of not being able to see faith was well... frustrating. lol...

However, the Jade on the left sells while the Jade on the right does not.

I'm colorblind so I wouldn't be able to tell you.

I think she does - if you look closely.

She looks very similar to the original concept of 'Jade'.

Lets hope Chapter 2 - Jade - happens at E3.

True. I remember reading that they changed the Jade design just a few weeks before the first game was finished. I always thought that was a mistake.

I preferred the Jade we saw in the final version.

It is even harder to distinguish what her ethnicity is with the old concept.
I recall a thread discussing what her ethnicity could be going by the final version. I don't think we were successful.

Not that it is important - but it was asked a few times in the past.

I hope they keep the bandana - noticed just now that the old concept omitted it.

maybe the bandana's been axed... lol...
