A couple of years ago I played bge for the firt time and i loved it. Last week i played it again and still loved it. But now I would like to make a movie about it, but I have no script. Does any of you have a script or someting like that?? Thanks.
A movie? And how were you planning on doing that? Just a bit of advice: keep it small, Ubisoft already shut down a movieproject once, it had probably grown too ambitious. It was going to be a Flash movie originally, but it was changed to a computer animated movie.
If you want dialogues to make a script, if you're up to the task, I suggest you download the BG&E Speedrun. It contains all the cutscenes.
Yes, like Den said, discretion is vital. I don't know why Ubi would want to stop the production of a movie that could get more fans, and popularity for BG&E, but they have.
A script eh? I geuss I could give it a shot, I treid to make a book, based losly on BGE once, but it needed to be too long. How long do you plan on making your film?
alright, I'll see what I can do. oh yeah and one last thing: if you were to give the movie a rating, what would the rating be G, PG, PG-13, or R? just want to know what I'm allowed to have them say and do.
i'd suggest pg-13... it's more true to the game... you could probably do R if you're lookin for violence or somethin... but anything less than pg-13 would be uterly ridiculous.
yeah, i know... I hope it is gonna be great!! I is gonna take a while, do...beacause there still is a script to be maade and stuff. But still, i hope it is gonna be great!!
There's nothing left from "the last one", I still have all the stuff on my pc but it's not necessairy to show it. It was going to be a CGI project. A lot of the work they showed us turned out to be ripped from existing work that could be found online. There was a facial model of Jade, but it might have been ripped too. It kind of looked like Jade, though.
I might have been a hoax, but I still like to believe that it wasn't.

It started as a flash movie, and they had lots of real work to show us. Then they upped it to computer animation, then to live action. It got to big, and he made too many mistakes by saying "this is real" when it wasn't. He was over his head, in too deep, and not smart enough to cover his tracks.

Great. I'd say that's easily the first step - know your limitations, you're boundries. Once you know that, you can gauge the project to a desired and realistic size. Do that to a good enough effect, and you'll have a legion of fans following your progress. Here's to looking forward.
