maybe you could just skip the code and let everyone do the mission. and when you are finished say your code is xxxx. i just want to get in the darkroom to do the mission. not to get the code. can you please do that?

I'll ask the Webteam if there is a way to get access to the mission part, but once again I can't promise anything.

Does it say 'username, Welcome in the DarkRoom!' on http://darkroom.ubi.com/

I can still access the mission from this username in which I had put in my internet code 4 years ago.

Although now if I complete the mission, I no longer get a code. I am also not able to enter my new internet code because of the decode.php.

I made a different username and it correctly displays it when I log into the darkroom with it. On this one I can't access the mission at all.

Also though, I thought your Akuda Bar code was dependent on whatever variables in your internet code, so accessing the mission without it probably wouldn't help. I would just like to know really if there is a finite amount of codes set that you could get, hopefully not over 20 that are randomly handed out, or if there really is 67,600 possible Akuda Bar codes.

This all just kind of sucks because I had MDisk 13 unlocked the last time I played 4 years ago, and between then my old Xbox died and lost all of my saves since they were all on the harddrive. So a year or so ago I got another Xbox, but I am just not getting around to beating BG&E and think it would be cool to have MDisk #13 permanently on a save.

It should be sent to the registered email of that username - I've tested that with my username, and I got the code in my inbox.

Ah, I haven't received any e-mails when replaying the hangman game recently. I do get the Ubisoft newsletters to the e-mail address I'm registered with though.

I bought this game on Steam a week ago, and couldn't stop playing until it was done. Great story! However, I'm encountering the same web difficulties as everybody else.

I'd like to offer fixing the web site myself... all I need is the existing code so I can figure out what's going on. I'm pretty handy with PHP and have a degree in C&O (that's combinatorics and optimization for the non-mathies and so I'm pretty confident that I could at least allow people to "finish" the game.

PHP files reside only on the server, so Ubisoft would have to give them to us and they don't care.

Hey guys, I tried the darkroom the other day and it sent me a key, don't know if it's the same one it was sent to me ages ago or not though..

Is there any hope for this being fixed ?

You know, I actually saw this coming years ago.

That's why you don't connect parts of the game with the internet, because the servers shut down, the websites go missing and nobody cares.

I had problems with the darkroom four years ago (when I was playing the game again) and now it doesn't work at all.
I don't mind the highscore or the hangman game, but there should definitly be a converter for the game codes to the door code.

Maybe the original web designer is still around and can provide the algorithm, but I doubt it.

I hope Ubisoft releases a little tool to do the trick together with BG&E2 at least.

Yep, I definitely agree with this. If Ubisoft was not going to have the website work five years later, then they could have made the page to just get to the point, getting rid of the high score list and hangman stuff.

What really makes no sense, is why even keep the darkroom page open if it doesn't even work?

Okay, now I can refresh my highscore (at least I think so) with the code again, but I'm not able to get the email with the code, because the website says I lost even if I won the game.

If I log in with a new account (which wasn't in the highsocre list before) I have the same problem like Olegdr.
