Aloha to all Ancel fans. Smile

Basically in the Rayman camp, we're all getting completely pissed off with how Ubi's raping our beloved series, to the point of contemplating abandoning the forums.

We know that Ancel tried to make a decent sequel to Rayman 2 before Ubi forced the Wii upon his studio, and it would appear that he left Montpellier shortly afterwards. We found out this week that he'd wanted Rayman 2's awesome composer to return, for example.

What I'd like to know is how to contact Ancel. His address or email, for example, to be able to show our support for his apparent stance on the Rayman series, among other things. Hopefully it shouldn't be too hard just to send him a message.

Is it possible to contact him through Ubi or something similar?

Thanks for any info. Smile

He left Montpellier? Where did you hear that?

I can't really help you with the contact information. He used to have an e-mail adress at mancel@ubisoft.fr but as far as I know that doesn't work anymore. You could try contacting some people at Ubisoft but usually you never get a response at all. Perhaps your best bet might be to send an e-mail to Cristophe Heral (http://www.prod-erable.com/), the music composer of Beyond Good & Evil. He appeared at Video Games Live with Ancel end 2006 (which I think was the last time we heard about Ancel), so maybe he can help (I'm not sure if he understands English so it would probably be best to write the e-mail in French).

It's assumed that Ancel has little to do with Ubi Montpellier's workings these days, considering what they've been doing. The silence isn't too comforting either.

It'd be awesome to be able to contact him..

Remember at Video Games Live when Ancel said he would try to pull the BGE team back together to make a sequel possible? Perhaps (I hope) he has bailed out from Ubisoft and is now working underground with Beyond Good & Evil 2. That would be soooo sweeeeet :P

Merci Ubisoft!
