Hey.

I am a long-time BG&E fan, and I remember way back a year or so ago, coming to this site constantly, playing the game, and loving every second of it. I remembered how everyone wanted a sequel, and things just didn't go right, and the sequel never happened. But today I randomly decided to check out these forums, thinking that there would be absolutely no recent posts... But to my surprise, I find that there are still a solid amount of true BG&E fans that still have hope for a sequel. Just wanted to say, It's really awesome how you guys have kept the BG&E fire going after all this time. And now, my belief in BG&E has been rekindled, after seeing how the site's expiration was extended, I thought... If that can happen, then a sequel is not out of the question yet. Anyway, just thought I'd come and I guess thank, but more like congratulate, or praise you guys who still post here. I don't know what to say, it's just THAT awesome. I now have hope, that this incredible game, that I will not forget for the rest of my life most likely, will not be forgotten by all others! Beyond Good and Evil... will remain in our hearts... Forever! THANKS to ALL who still keep BG&E in their hearts!

(figured I'd end my praise post with an emotional pump-up statement or something)

Once again, this is inspiring, can't wait to see the day when the sequel is announced!

Yes, there's still a solid fanbase active and there are still fanart and fanfics being made. Also, you'll find that the BG&E community isn't restricted to just this forum, there's more places on the internet to go and find other fans. Look around and you shall find! BG&E is still very much alive.

I actually check this forum a few times each week. I just keep waiting to see that big announcement, of you-know-what in development.

But seriously, at this point in time I don't think it's very likely.

To be perfectly honest, my hope grows each day. Ancel is now working on Rayman 4 and I've got this feeling that he'll do BG&E 2 next.

I don't think we'll ever leave. Commited for life, or at least until we have another BGE to play. Imagine the mad rush for us to see who can beat it first... Denden will be out of luck cuz everything is released late over there!

Glad you re-discovered us akabok, we've talked about our forum stickiness multiple times now. We still love the game, and cherish the great friendships forged on these very forums. Akabok, what was your name when you graced these forums earlier?

You were correct the first time. Swishy bangs = emo = laughably bad smiley. I'd use it all the time to annoy the carp out of everyone.

I will never let BG&E die! I want to go to a visual arts school to major in video game design and minor in video game programing, while I'm in college I'm going to inturn at a video game company. when I'm finnaly done I'm going to start my own company: Rat House Productions. we will release two un-titled games, then an epic MMORPG, and finnaly, if ubi-soft never comes to their senses: buy the rights to beyond good and evil, release a version with updated graphics, and then have micheal ancel work with me to make a sequal! and I won't sell out and do it by myself, like some game designers, no Ancel, no sequal, it just wouldent be the same.

I myself have been around for nearly two and a half years. I don't post much any more, but I'm still around, lurking in the shadows...

But yes, it's great to see how much support this game still gets. My honest feeling is that it is only a matter of time before a sequel is made. The only question is when, and I have no idea what the answer is.

Clomer, you're one of the few veterans that just lurk around. I love it. Every once in awhile one of you lurking vets jumps out and gives their two cents. I always look forward to those posts.
Speaking of which, I hope QuiGon shows back up again for E3 part three this year...
