Thunderpants, I've never known about YTMND... what a sweet site. I don't like the overly-anime portion of 4chan, despite the fact it IS indeed a site about anime. The only reason I enjoy 4chan is the flash upload boards, which is the source of much late night humor for my friends and I, and though those flash boards I've learned of 4chan's many long running jokes. Truth be told, the flash board is the only thing I've ever done on 4chan.

I was just posting in the who loves BGE the most topic, and it made me think about this community that has existed for so long. Here's a thought for you guys: you know it's a fact that SOMEONE at Ubisoft looks upon these forums, and they KNOW we exist, still today. What do they think about us? For a game that they basically want the public to forget about so the sequels can shy away, here is a small community of gamers that loved BGE so much that here, 2 years after the games release, we're still hanging around, refusing to leave. I wonder what they think about us all...

Ubisoft will never get rid of us. Even if for some stupid reason, they decide to shut down this forum, the community will still be there. Just in another place. I've been here for too long to quit now. Beyond Good & Evil is what I love and Beyond Good & Evil 2(and 3) is what I'm aiming for. Ubisoft, if you're reading this. We'll never give up! BG&E2 will one day be real!

sure... but finding a low ping server for the both of us will be a challenge... i'm up most night playing the game, so time zones shouldn't be a problem... i play on Sitting Ducks or MaD team mashed most evenings, but my connection is buggy... how bout you?

i think they probably look at us like any of the other non-forums, for lack of a better phrase. as in, just one of the ones on the edge... if someone does monitor the forum, then they probably respect us as people and as fans because i think we're a respectable forum... but do you think that, if you were the admin of this forum, that you would be so interested in all the little communities that talk about ytmnds and playing CS:S?

i think that if it were my forum, that i probably would care more, but we're not talking about me, we're talking about a business... big differance.

Here at school, my connection is anyone's guess. Sometimes, it's nice and fast, pinging in at around 60 ms. Other times, it's bogged down, and I end up at around 100-150 ms. At home, on Verizon DSL I ping at 30-40 ms, and I really miss it. I typically play at the girls of CS (stupid content, but very solid servers) and rowdy guns clan server.

I see what you're saying about Ubi not really caring. They've got bigger fish to fry, and I'm sure to them we're just fish in a barrel that they can easily wipe away from existance whenever they want. Still, it makes me wonder if anyone's seen us just sitting here, refusing to leave this wonderful game.

BG&E got advertised once again. This time in this week's issue of the largest TV magazine in The Netherlands. It's in an article for budgetgames. Games like XIII and Splinter Cell are also in there. It's got a big picture, and they say it's not so well-known, but it's a fun game and Peter Jackson loves it. The magazine is read by a lot of people, so this is nice. If any Dutch member here also has the Veronica Magazine and a scanner, please show the article.

Okay guys, I'm fairly certain that I found this here... but I have no clue why it sat on the backburner of my bookmarks until tonite. While looking for the (supposed) BGE HL mod, I stumbled upon this, and listened to it's whimsicle splendor. What an amazing remix, combining some of the best parts of the game's beautiful music. If you haven't heard this remix yet, check it out immediatly.

Nice first shots, Ralexand. It seems the scanner you used isn't too bad. You made a good pick for the featured deviation. Let me know if you want me to critique your work, I like to offer tips wherever I can.

Frame of Mind is some excellent work. When the beat comes in it gets even better. I've got it in my playlist since it was released.

EDIT 12-01: The horrormovie I was making with a friend is on DVD. It's called Kristof Creen and I have seen it about three times now. I must say, overall it's a very good movie, despite it's short playtime(15 minutes). It's creepy, atmospheric and it's got some humour too. This is the preview version, made for the contest. There are some faults in it which we will correct later when we do the REAL DVD. And with special features added as well. After that, I WILL add subtitles and upload it. Just so you know: it will take some time before you get to see it.

Tomorrow my friend and I will go work on our movie for the last time. We saw our editing-mistakes on the first DVD-version(there weren't much mistakes, thank god).
