For those of you who bought the game in it's initial release week or years after. What was the first memories that really made you warm to the story of Beyond Good & Evil?

The first sequence up until Jade faints would be the moment I warmed to the story.

It just got better after...

I think... when I picked up the first pearl, or maybe when I fought the Domz creature in the mines.

The first time I played the game I was scared out of my mind. I waited for a bit, played it again, and I loved it. I warmed up to it probably after hearing the music. It is the best music I have ever heard!!

I started playing it one day but couldn't get into it so I put it away. About a year later I picked it up again, got to the point where I took my first picture and I was hooked.

i gotta say the moment the game slows down during the first domz fight. it seemed so cool... the epic music mixed with that moment seemed pretty awesome... but i didn't know what i was doing and got killed like immediately after it sped back up. lol...

when the camera slowly panning down on jade and a kid doing meditation.. that was when i know it's going to be my most favorite game!

The opening shot of Jade and the child overlooking Hyllis was great. ^_^

An argument with Secundo and Peyj when Jade wakes up. And the great vitrages in the Lighthouse with the moving piano tune from Christophe Heral ^^

My favorite part is were jade wakes up after she faints at the beginning of the game and pey'j walks in to see how shes feeling. The whole violin piece if am correct was soulful and including the piano arrangement that Ogre mentioned.

First fight with the domz, when the time slows down, I fell in love with the game then

The opening and first fight sequence, I just knew this game was going to be special.

the open world and the special feeling that i can't find any where . what a game even after 6 years from playing the game i steel remeber it

I just gotta say the opening to one of the first fights, when Pey'j breaks through that window and throws the stick to you.

And I remember thinking, "OOOH **** JUST GOT REAL"

But yeah, that was a good first moment for me that told me that this was going to be an awesome game.
