Hello all,
I bought this game yesterday after hearing lots of good things about it and have been enjoying playing it the last few hours.
One thing that I do have a problem with though is that the game hangs my system whenever I take a photo.
To elaborate, the second I take a photo the screen locks at that moment, the music continues playing and I can't do anything, my PC stops responding. I can't Alt-Tab, press any buttons, even Num-Lock, Scroll Lock and Caps Lock stop responding. After that 30 second period, the screen then changes to the photo screen showing you what your picture looks like, only I just get a black image instead of the picture I just took. Everything else is fine, and there does not appear to be any other issues, but this bug is quite annoying considering this is what the game is based around.

Can anyone help?

It relates more to your video drivers. I had the problem for a short while when I updated my drivers for my ATI Radeon 9600 card. Then I updated them again later on, and the problem fixed. So, I think the best thing to recommend is to try another version of your video card drivers, newer or older.

I had a feeling that might be the required action, which is a shame because I have other games that only seem to work with certain drivers and it all gets a bit messy.
I'll try the v45's that are supplied on the installation disc.

Right, well I installed the supplied drivers on the BG&E disks and all is working smoothly now.

Good to see that helped. Perhaps some day, a later driver will work better with BGE.
