Nemesis and Pyramid Head are two boss-like monsters that stalk the protagonists from two very different games. Nemesis' only appearance was in Resident Evil 3, and Pyramid Head's (PH)only appearance was in Silent Hill 2. These descriptions display enough similarities for me to wanna differentiate the two abominations from one another. Who do you think is the toughest, the ugliest, the weirdest, the scariest, and why?

When it comes to toughness I can think of three major areas;power, speed, and endurance. Anyone that has played both RE 3 and SH 2 know that Nemesis is WAY faster than Pyramid Head (PH). PH is incredibly slow during the player's first boss encounter with him. He does get a bit of a speed up during later encounters in the game because he ain't draggin' that big ass knife around. But his speed resumes to pale in comparison to Nemesis'. I KNOW that PH owns endurance! It would seem, at first, that both Nemesis and PH are tied in this area, but that ain't so. The players from both RE 3 and SH 2 were not the actual cause of these monstrosities' deaths, but the player in RE3 had the indirect opportunity to vanquish Nemesis with another means of destruction other than a regular firearm. But PH could never fall in battle because of the player-PH had to go as far as suicide in order to lose. I mean c'mon, at least in RE 3 you could knock out Nemesis ( REALLY HARD THING TO DO ) during his frequent phases outside of the boss fights; but PH wouldn't go for that, its as if nothing could stop PH but himself. Now when it comes to power, that's really hard for me to tell. They both seem equally powerful.....both of them can lift the players off of their feet, carry very heavy things, take massive damage, and blow things away with a mighty wack. I think the only way we can tell who is the strongest is to see who takes more damage from the player; unless this factor entirely depends on the players' defense rather than the antagonists' spectacular power. This is all opinion, so I wanna know what everyone else thinks. Who's tougher to you...PH or Nemesis? And ya should say why ta back yerself up.

Nemesis is definitely @##%^&$ ugly to the max. He looks like somebody that falls over a ditch into a variety of chemicals, got hit by a car, didn't get a promotion at work,and had to pay a bazillion bills when he came home, mate. PH, on the other hand, its kinda hard ta tell cuz his face hides behind a massive pyramid-shaped mask(hence his name). When people judges someone's appearance based on the physical, they often use the face as the subject of ridicule or praise. So PH might have a very good excuse ta hide his face-it may be even uglier than Nemesis', or maybe PH THINKS he's ugly but he maybe handsome....hell if I know. But Nemesis is absolutely more hideous from what I can tell. Having a scarred eyed, wrinkled-torn skin, no lips, and an angry expression, Nemesis wins this section of the competition. Yet strangely, there might be others who disagree. lol.

I go for Pyramid Head. Nemesis makes me laugh

Yeah I'd go for PH too, in terms of being weirder and scarier. Nemesis shows up too damn much to the point he can't be scary or weird to me. And at least Nemesis says something, even if it is just the acronym, "S.T.A.R.S." I think PH is weirder cuz he's so silent, wears a huge ass can on his head lookin' like that WCW wrestler, Executioner, uses a tree-long knife for a weapon, and does "things" (really awkward "things" ) to the other monsters. PH has gotta be scarier(especially when its the player's first time playin' SH2) cuz he hardly confronts the protagonist outside of boss fights, increasing the suspense level in the player. He literally scared the piss outta me(I had ta pee right after this ) when he came walkin' right around the corner in that one circular corridor, mates! I mean, how could ya think that Nemesis is scarier and/or weirder than PH? Nemesis was just too hilarious.

Ta me, I think PH wins this contest for sure outta the four subjects(except the tougher part, I'd say PH and Nemesis are equal there). PH is weirder and scarier, but Nemesis is just uglier, and their tied in the toughness just 'bout. So this is how things are lookin' ta me:

PH=weirder
PH=scarier
Nemesis=uglier
PH+Nemesis=tougher
winner=PH, the real monster of the two.

But I like Nemesis for some reason. I don't really care too much for PH.
