Emmex!!!! Long time no see! Hope all is well with you. As you can see, this place is still holding together, even if it is by means of duct tape!

Sorry for the delay, but welcome! Glad people from the other forums appreciate these kinds of games and are willing to meet others who like the same genre! Happy

Don't worry about that. Some people do get a little creative when they give out their info...
For example:
quote:

Name: Speedyserd (Speedy will be fine for those who are lazy to type)
Age: between the legal ages to vote and to drink
Gender: female
Location: down the street from PX

Nice to meet you, MN (if you don't mind me calling you that). I bet after long you won't be a novice any more! You might need to change your name. Wink2

Sure thing, Speedy. Wink2

Actually, I've already mastered the first four installments of Myst without needing help. The Novice thing is just my way of expressing humility (not false humility, really). Roll Eyes
I did have to cheat on URU:AbM though. With working my way through Engineering school, I really don't have the time to stare at fireflies for hours on end or reset ages over and over again every time I step on the wrong tile or pull the wrong lever. Sorry, I'm ranting. Tongue
I have yet to solve the first big puzzle for Myst V (which is getting it to run properly). You'd think a Tech major could figure it out, but no! Mad I already have a thread on EoA forum about that though.
I am a Novice when it comes to forums, but with all the time I waste waiting for updates to download on my dial-up connection to a small town server (a whole 26K today), this might be an entertaining distraction. Veryhappy

Don't worry, I feel your pain! I'm an engineer as well and I feel somewhat silly if I can't get an electronic device to work (i.e. DVD player to TV and computer, separate computer speakers and its volumes).
Hopefully you get a response soon! EoA was fun, but it's different from the other games (a combo of Myst and Uru).
