Welcome to the Waiting Room for Mysthillarium XIV! I hope I'm on the right number here! I think 13 was the last... *grin* And it's been a whopping six months since the last one, so I think we can safely start one now.

The waiting room is for discussing matters OOC, waiting while others are finishing their posts, and general hanging around while the main action happens in the Mysthillarium thread. Have fun!

While my character ponders, he does that a lot lately.. it must be old age, someone start this thing .... For example, where does this new Mysthillarium take place? Is the linking book at the Space Airport the only way in? Anyone?

Please let me know if my little political satire has offended anyone. Not my intent, only just to get a chuckle or two. I have too much time on my hands at my office. Big Grin

Political satire Speedy? I musta missed it... Indifferent

Oops Found it! I should have read the MH14 thread first before typing. Hammer

I could solve that whole presidential-election-running-on-forever thing by being president. I'd cut out all the nonsense going on there. Wink2

Hey, I could do the same thing, but I probably wouldn't like the presidency too much. I'm not a big fan of politics in general.

Remember all the money you can make. The Clinton's were complaining that they were thousands in debt during their last year. Now they say that they are worth over a hundred million dollars. All you have to do is survive the term and then get rich.

On second thought, why would we want to reduce ourselves to that level, at the bottom of the list, just below used car salesman and lawyer? Angry Blue Guy

Enough, already! Please, no more politics ... at least not here. The link, where's the link? I've read marae's post in the M14 thread, saw the word, but nothing clicks. Is something wrong or am I just getting old? Ummm, at least she added coffee.

Hey, if we have to go to a town council meeting, politics will come up in there... but at least we can make fun of it while we can. Big Grin

Ah, yes, political jokes. Though they become less funny after one's made a trip to the bowels of the AOL message boards and attempted to debate with the Jesus Squad that seems to inhabit the place...
Anyway, I've brought in a new character on this one, whose details will be revealed soon enough. If you need more of a physical image than I gave in my post, think bishonen merged with surfer dude. (Well, we are talking about a half-Japanese, half-Hawaiian here...)

Hey, where does this link lead us to (aka where are we supposed to meeting up)?

Also, Achenar, got a name for your character, or will you be doing the introduction yourself?

Speedy, I think you and I are on the same page, 'cus I don't know where to meet anyone either ... tho, it seems that the Spaceport had a Linking Room when we went to Pluto. From there one can always grab a cab but then giving the driver directions might be a problem. Marae, watch out.. you always seems to get into trouble in these things. Maybe you should stay in bed. I'll introduce him when people start showing up; he does have a name (he's the main character in one of my offline stories), I just haven't revealed it yet.

*marae points at Urdu* Bingo.

We are accumulating outside the mound of confetti. The link takes you to the Mysthillarium thread, where you will see people assembling.

If you want it to take you somewhere else, you need to say where to. Usually when you click on these things... Oh. Wait. I know!

Googly Mocking Veryhappy

EDIT: OK. Folks, when you link there... um... can we like all move to the Mysthillarium XIV thread and have the story happen there? Some are at the bar, and some are in the MH thread... it will be much easier if those in the bar thread link over to the MH thread. I gave you a link there.

And once there... you're standing next to a telephone pole, with Achenar's character sitting at the bottom of it at the moment, and Marae has just arrived...

From there, we need to find the council meeting. That's our first task. So link there, and let's start looking.

Sorry if this got confusing; I figured when we all got to the MH thread, we'd all know to start looking for the council meeting. My apologies if I didn't make that clear.

Don't worry, Marae. A lack of clear order and logic has never stopped us before. Mean Happy

Well, I'm in, and in, and in...

If you were to choose to follow every link I have provided and every link they linked to, you would figure all this out for yourselves, but why don't I just save you the trouble and summarize:

There are three mogs, or selves, all from different threads.

1) The first self is the oldest, the self that came from the 'The coming of Age - Joining the 1000 posts club' thread. He was the one that originally started shoveling all this confetti into the Age 233 bar, so he feels a little guilty about the whole thing and wants to try and help as much as he can.

2) The second mog is the one that originally took part in MH 13 (first as a disembodied voice before assuming his current mog form) and joined everyone at the Age 233 bar when MH 13 disbanded. He initially fled the bar once it started filling with confetti, but unknown to everyone, he came back and has been trying to unearth, err, unconfetti the bar for months. He's filthy from all the work and is furious at this course of events, becoming very ill tempered. Whenever he find the being responsible for all this (see above), fur will fly.

3) The third mog is the second self to come from the 'Order of Catmeister' thread (the first being Boppy). He ditched his old home because the party there has been dead for quite a while. He's the one that just smashed into the notice sign (Age 233 bar) and bowled into his other two selves. He always makes grand entrances like that where ever he goes. He really just wants to start up another party.

There goes. Have fun! Big Grin

Meh... some details could be dredged out of what I've just had him say, so I'll explain a bit more.
Name: Kapalo Sora
Age: 19
Home: Earth (or at least one version of it), 2017
Nationality: Half-Japanese, half-Hawaiian Islander
And he's an anime fan. A pretty big one, though he's still athletic to a good degree. So don't be surprised if he drops an odd reference or two, if the time presents itself.
