I have never played myst games before but they sound like they are just what i have been looking for.

Should i play the original game first or which game should i start with

any suggestions?

I would just go ahead and play them in the general order. No real need to as each can be played alone, no tie in.

I have had and played Myst, and it's second release Myst (?) but loaned that one to a friend and it never came back. I then played Riven and Exile. All three with only a minimum of problems.

I believe I then tried to play URU and Complete Chronicles, I am still trying to play URU but now I am using cheats to keep going. It is an interesting game but has some very confounding problems and solutions. I may never finish this game.

Next I played Myst Revelation. Did pretty well on this one but it also had some very confusing problems so I used a cheat for a couple places.

Then came Myst End of Ages. A very good game and I was again successful for much of it but had to use cheats in a couple places.

I would say start with the three packs, your choice, and then progress onward if you like what you get.

Best to start at the beginning and then you can appreciate the detail to the graphics and world's over time... wonder how the black lab is doing now that it's owner has no time for walkies :[
