amplification -> constructive interference

E=mc^2. In other words, mass and energy are directly related. Research is actually being done on creating gravity using concentrated laser light, so gravity from light is a theoretical possibility. By the way, it is a fact of quantum physics that gravity and all other field forces travel at the speed of light. Universal speed limit, remember? If the sun were to disappear, we would still orbit around nothing for eight or nine minutes. We neither travel through or are traveled through by time. We are beings that exist in time's constant flow and are subject to its whims, ignorant of whether it flows forwards, backwards, or sideways. Confused yet? Twisted

constructive interference ---> global warming myth Shady

Ok. Let me see if I've got this straight....

If gravity travels at the speed of light, that would also imply the possibility of red-shifting or blue-shifting of gravity. What would that look like? Is that part of the reason astrophysicists haven't figured out what & where all the mass of the universe is?

Scientists have slowed the speed of light down to less than 30 mph, and even stopped light.

Time isn't constant either, since they've taken two different atomic clocks, flown one at high speed and kept the other on the ground. They started out synced together, but ended up with different times after the flight(s).

global warming myth Shady -> increasing global temeratures across the solar system due to increase in solar activity Winky

Actually, one of the greatest mysteries in the study of gravity is the inconsistency of the Universal Gravitational Constant. No matter how fancy and expensive the equipment is, different labs cannot agree to any greater accuracy than three significant figures. The inconsistency is possibly due to warping of the gravitational field caused by motion and time dilation. I've always imagined this effect as resembling a weight being dragged through a viscous liquid.

The speed of light in a vacuum is constant even if time and space must be warped to accomplish this. That is the cause of time dilation. To my understanding the only manipulation of the speed of light is accomplished by using reafractive materials rather than slowing light down in a vaccum.

Yeah, if you gave it to Greg already, the one frame, the one of the close up to the bike, you need to look at it, and click on the engine part of it.
