MX - I don't go fish - fish goes with me. Big blue and I have been inseparable since Mystillarhiam (sp?) III. Just been really busy.

We are head admins on an on-line gaming site with Myleague.com so a lot of my time has been taken up there.

But now that I'm submersed in Myst IV, I expect to be around more oftern.

I'm so glad you stopped by to let us know how you're doing! Wow, admin eh? Sounds like you and Big Blue have been super busy!

Myst IV is so cool, and so is Myst V! Donahoo, Trucker and I played both together, using voice chat on Yahoo Messenger. Loads of fun, even though we actually were in the game by ourselves...it just felt like we were all there together. It was a challenge though, trying to be in the same place as everyone else!

I got IV and V to do on vacation but ended up finishing IV before we left and then I found that when I loaded V, and I realized I had already played it through already, so there it is!! What a letdown.

Oh well I guess I just wait to see what comes out next.

hey strangers - wassup?
Sorry i haven't been here for so long - so much work on it's insane! I did buy a new G5 mac in January but just 2 months ago my old G4 mac decided that Adobe InDesign suite suddenly needed reinstalling - only the original discs are with a client about 300 miles away - AARRGHH!

Anyway it was time to upgrade the software anyway so did a full wipe and reinstall on Miss Mac - it's been almost 5 years since I first installed the OS - yeah Mac's - go figure. I spoke to an I.T guy who asked the obvious question - "When was the last time you ran Nortons over your HD."..... ummm Norton's Disk Doctor right? yeah... errr.... I had a copy of that for my old 266mhz Mac back in 2002 but it's kinda OS9 and obsolete and who needs disc doctor anyway? lol

Anyhoo, to make up for my absence I have a pic almost finished that I would like to share with you all - Myst on the Water - no it's not a song, that was Smoke On the Water, it's real live photography that is actually a recreation of the original Myst Island. I found this perfect shot of grey water with a perfect sky that just screamed Myst Island, though the Island was missing of course, so I began searching the necessary accompanying images and have almost completed the final image - It's actually 1m wide by 600mm deep at 300dpi - about 360mb - and yes, that's after I flattened a few layers - the detail is immense - but hey - it's going to be a world exclusive afterall
I just need to drop in the ship and the Cog and stairway and a bit of the dock but I will post a sneak preview for now on my Photopage. Enjoy

Wundderin and Emmex. You both say you can't remember passwords. I use Firefox and with it I can look up (Tools, Options, Security, Saved Passwords, and then Show Passwords). Both on Win98 and XP.

Emmex runs a Macaroni machine and I don't know what Wunddering uses but was thinking if you had Firefox on your machines, maybe you could do the same.

Has either of you two looked at the Squee Travels book yet? Just curious about who has been able to look at the combined efforts of all the travel hosts.

EDIT: Thanks Wundderin. I had not noticed your post on the Squee Travels thread. Glad you liked it. Tell others about it too. I only had a few addresses for the hosts and just hope more will arrive here and take a look.

Thanks BobF - I looked under Firefox and Tools - but no Options... good news though - I did find scribbled in the back of a password book a temporary password that may just work - I will go check it out later.... really must read these online manuals one day.

actually it's the loggins that are a problem - so many times I tried to log in to this forum and it's rejected my password so I had to get a new username, then that one rejected my password because it was already in use??? So I put a new one in - then changed serveres and had to get a new username... and password...

neverending story!
