Well. first heard about endwar about 3-4 months ago but after a while I stopped checking in to see th progress. Got Fallout 3 and played that for a while and Lost planet and Halo 3 and all that kinda stuff. I've always perfered RTS games above all els but they never seem to have been progressing like RPGs but with the glimpses I've gotten from endwar... I think I'm about to get a taste of the next gen of RTS games.

Oh god please let it be better than Universe at War. Good game, TINY BATTLES!!!!! max caps out at 90, the character takes up 10. Good units take anywhere from 3-20... Tiny game. For a while I thought about getting Supreme Commander just because of how big it was but to be honest, it didn't look like that great a game so I decided not to get it.

Now I'm getting endwar. It looks MUCH bigger than UaW but it has much better detail and abilities than Supreme commander. I especially like the touch where you can use troop transport air stuff like the Osprey transitional plane/helicopter being made for the marines right now or whatever thay call the Osprey in this game. Valkiyre or something idk. Anyway.

The reason I posted this thread was as a question. Please tell me MORE about this game.

Youtube endwar strategy so you can have some king of concept of how big the battles are. The battles here are not all out slug fests in the middle, they are usually between a few units and the person who has countered the best wins.

...Try Smaller...Maps are only 1sq mile and you can only have 12 units on the field. You don't actually get to control the troop transports, they only come in to drop new units off.

There isn't really much to tell you about the game but I'd definately rent it or try the demo if I was you.
