if ur unit gets hit w/ a wmd, it should be dead. no if ans or buts about it. ( one of my enemies engineers was still alive b/cus it found some cover. the cover should have been BLOWN UP. but on the air strikes, there could be a precision strike option that will only atk 1 unit without splash damage.

Don't know wether this has been suggested already, 25 pages are a lot to read. And maybe it is just me doing something wrong. But I noticed that if you command an infantry unit and a transporter unit to retreat they will do it seperately i.e. the infantry unit will not enter the transporters to escape - they will run, which is most probably the worst thing they could do at that moment. On all other commands I used so far transporters and infantry units cooperate well.
It looks like a glitch to me. From the suggestions I read so far I second the suggestions for replay improvement, adding my own two points: Make player view switchable I would love to analyze the opponents movements on the HQ display. Get unit information back (health, unit type) into the display, at least the HQ one. A click on the HQ map should position a camera there and switch to that view. Go fast where the action is. |

Hello everyone.
I'd like to share my two cents on the discussion. My post is directed not only at the developers but also the forum in general, as I'm interested in what feedback might be generated. 1. Leave unit killing the way it is, I'm not particularly fond of losing high ranking units either but it does give the game more edge. Like others have posted, leaving this feature out will lessen the experience. It also makes you a better player due to the fact that there's more at stake. 2. In Theater Of War substitute four verses four with three verses three. EndWar has a very small online player base, finding a four verses four game can be a toss of the dice at times. Three verses three will help to alleviate this and at the same time offer a larger team experience then what two verses two can provide. I say substitute because having all four multiplayer options will only serve to divide the player base even further. 3. Give riflemen the ability to target designate for a gunship's secondary attack (similar to artillery). Nothing crazy like the entire length of the map, just outside the gunship's range. This will give infantry another support option, as well as making gunships more useful in general. As it stands now, once the field is saturated with combat transports gunships become nothing more than overpriced UAVs. |

i dunno gunships are really useful as it is. i typically use gunships and tanks, not so much on transports. tanks can kill transports, infantry out of cover, and other tanks. gunships can kill tanks, infantry and other gunships. i usualy only have 1 max 2 transports out and like 3 tanks 4+ gunships. gunships can respond to a situation far faster then any other unit can. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ A good person does not demand something of others and then become angry at them when the task is not completed as fast as they would like, when they themselves cannot do any better. |

The Lobby ofcourse, it is not uncommon and it happens quite often that you will wait 1 hour to start a match in theater of war. I now know the meaning of excrutiating.

Here is a great suggestion to improve end war get rid of the ubisoft server. It always lags people out. EVERY WEEK I HAVE UNITS DISSAPEAR THAT HAVN'T EVEN TOUCHED THE BATTLEFIELD IN WEEKS. Two units this week dissapeared a veteran transport and a veteran engineer niether have been used in weeks. Last week I lost two hardened tanks and a veteran rifleman and a hardened gunship. The reason you are losing players to other games is because the server is terrible day in and day out. Wait time for matches is getting even longer and don't tell me its the time of day because its been any time of day. I love this game but you are going to run off everyone if you don't fix this stuff, its bad enough people are unit killers but to have them dissapear for no reason is the last straw. CUT BACK ON AIR STRIKES FOR EVERYONE MAYBE HAVE A SECOND CP COUNTER FOR AIR STIKRS

Is it possible to patch the TOW to prevent situations like on the ps3 tow at the moment where the tow rules protect efec because the pf's are not directed at them, plus there are the attacks from no where. I was asking cause there is no need to request something that cant be done. This is basically like allowing tow to change the pf's of factions if certain things constantly reoccur.
don't know why i had to post this in here, i feel like the devs aren't reading this anymore. |

figures they lock our damn topic. suggestions for improvements? ok, how about all displayed weapons actually fire? (M1A2 Abrams .50 caliber, JSF Tank .50 caliber) how about Mitchell stops calling me a General Major and a Colonel when I'm a 4-star General and addresses me as Commander instead? how about Rank 1 is referred to as an officer rather than an enlisted rank? I support the latter. Make it based on the batallion rank as that sums up the unit ranks and is an indication of the strength of your batallion as well as your skills. Try to match people with ranks close to each other in a best-effort attempt. I guess unit killing will not happen that often then and won't cause a big impact upon your chances for the next battle, as if your batallion is weakened you are placed versus weaker batallions as well for the next match. It would lessen the frustration people may get from their high-value units get killed and would make them stay on the game longer. |

i agree with most of the other responses change up they way your units look like when you have hardened units have them look like they have been through alot of fighting like maybe some dirt on there armor or some missing equipment and then have your recruit units look all shiny and new that would be pretty sweet oh and one more thing get rid of th SCAR! i want to see the XM8 looks more of weapon for a GHOST

I wish stealth and sneakiness played a bigger role in Endwars and that there were more upgrades you can purchase, and more choices you have to make so your Batallion gets more unique, because right now every Batallion is almost the same.
It would be fun if there would be some more brainpower needed to upgrade your units the best way. |

Something needs to be done about unit killing. It is the worst its ever been there are to many people who just play to do this they don't care about winning they just want to ruin the game for others, and with the wait time for matches getting longer and longer i'd say its working. Maybe if units ranked up quicker like in the solo campaign losing a unit wouldn't be a big deal but a lot of units take nearly 30 games to get hardened and if you get multiple units killed by one of these jerks it just takes the fun out of the game. Air support needs to be limited maybe each player gets 3 for an entire match and they need to use it wisely. In the real world you don't have unlimited air support even if a soldier unit lives depend on it so you shouldn't have that here either when the game is supposed to be fun.

Here is another thing that can use some modification emp/wmd combo. I can see using the emp to hold the units so you can catch multiples with the nuke but it just another way that people unit kill. Have it just incapacitate the units caught in the blast. The game itself is fun but others are trying to ruin it.

EW will fade out like most MMPOG that come out.
weather it be the unit killing, waits time, whatever. It was bound to happen, but what made it happen so fast is that the tech support for the tow, has not been doing their job in maintaining the server. People have found ways to kill your unit before it gets downed now. Some one Airstrikes your unit when its in the red wit no shield its gone. Happens to be a Russian favorite on Grissom when they have air support.
