This is more of a plea than anything to Ubisoft concerning End War 2 and the reoccurring stalemates that seem to plague all 3 factions in End War. I know you guys attempted to put multiplier's in and what not to remove this problem but alls that solution did was move the stalemates over one territory. I could understand if this was a fluke thing that happened once a war or once every 2 or 3 wars but it isn't. It's gotten to the point where every war begins and ends with a 3+ week territory exchange on two or three fronts where the factions play the same territories over and over and over again. This makes for very boring game play and after 10 wars strategies are becoming obsolete because everyone knows every possible move their opponent can make.
I don't know if you guys didn't forsee this as a problem or what but I believe this issue needs to be addressed in some way to prevent these week/month long drawn out endeavors that result in people picking up different games because they've played the same maps all week long. Great example putting Mahilyow and Wilstermarch right next to each other (the exact same map just owned by two different factions). What's the point?! I could understand if a couple of maps where the same maybe one or two per side but it's to where all the maps everyone plays are the same throughout and nothing new ever happens. Install some new maps or come up with some new rules that allow factions to move their PF from one place to another. Say the EFEC doesn't want to fight at Reagan anymore...let them try to come into the US through Okefenokee. The JSF is tired of playing Rondane every day...let them open a new front attacking Russia from JFK. This would at least move the game to where if no progress is being made anywhere at least new maps are opening up for people to play and keep interest. I know I'm so tired of the U.S.S. Reagan/TMI stalemate where because of the multiplier JSF can't win Reagan but EFEC can't take TMI that I don't even bother playing in the US anymore. The same can be said with Russia defending their territories up north. JSF wins Rondane on defensive spoils but can't move any farther into Russia because they can't win. Make it so if a certain territory is poorly defended the attacking faction (upon winning) gets another territory in the process because the defending faction didn't have enough reinforcements to hold their ground. I haven't worked out all of the details but these week long back and forth deals need to stop... Come Down On Them Like Thunder Before They See The Lightning! |
